The Nautical Forum was conducted successfully on 12 Jan 16 at STI Auditorium, Capital Tower, Singapore. Jointly organised by the ReCAAP ISC with Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), the Forum attracted close to 200 participants from the shipping industry, law enforcement agencies, governmental agencies, research academia and like-minded individuals. Serving as a prelude to the release of the Annual Report, the ReCAAP ISC presented the annual statistics for the piracy and sea robbery situation in Asia for 2015; and also informed the participants about the progress of the Regional Guide to Counter Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia, which the ReCAAP ISC was working with its partner organisations.
